5 and 10 Question email consultations are available. The benefit of an email consultation is a slightly quicker turnaround and an email transcript of Debbie's communication. After you Book your appointment using the book now link you can email Debbie with the following criteria:
Animal's Name, Age, Sex, And Location town/state/country and your Appointment date.
Please attach only 1 picture per animal.
Debbie will work with your animal(s) and email you back usually within a week plus of your booking date. This is not a phone appointment. All communication is done via email. Debbie works with live animals as well as animals in spirit. Please check your spam folder as many emails from this website end up there. We are working to resolve this, but in the meantime please check in these folders if you have not received a response in a timely manner.

Finding the right animal to welcome into your home is about so much more than appearance, breed, or a photograph. It’s about personality, lifestyle, energy, expectations—and whether the match feels right for everyone involved.
My Pet Matchmaking Consultations are designed to help you narrow down your search and gain deeper insight into the animals you are considering before making a lifelong commitment.
You provide me with a small number of potential dogs, cats, or any other animals you are seriously considering adopting. Through a phone or email consultation, I will connect intuitively with each animal to get a sense of their personality, temperament, preferences, emotional needs, and what they may be looking for in a home.
I will also look at your lifestyle, household, schedule, activity level, family dynamics, and what you are hoping for in a companion so we can explore which animal may be the best overall fit.
If you already have animals in your home, I can also communicate with them to gain insight into how they may feel about welcoming a new family member and what kind of companion might integrate most comfortably into the household.
The goal is not simply to help you choose an animal.
It is to help create a relationship that has the greatest opportunity to become a happy, lasting match—for you, the animal you adopt, and the animals already sharing your home.
How It Works
1. Tell me about your home and lifestyle.
You’ll provide information about your household, schedule, family members, existing animals, activity level, preferences, and what you’re looking for in a companion.
2. Send me your potential matches.
You may submit a limited number of animals you are seriously considering through a shelter, rescue, foster organization, breeder, or other placement situation.
3. I connect with each animal.
I’ll communicate with the prospective animals and gather impressions about their personality, needs, preferences, and potential compatibility with your household.
4. I check in with your existing animals.
When applicable, I can also communicate with the animals already in your home about the possibility of a new companion.
During your consultation, I’ll share what I received from each animal and help you compare the prospective matches so you can move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
A Little Extra Insight Before a Lifelong Decision
Adoption is a major commitment, and no consultation can guarantee how an animal will behave or how a relationship will develop once they are living in your home. My role is to offer an additional layer of intuitive insight alongside the information provided by shelters, rescues, foster families, veterinarians, trainers, and your own observations.
Sometimes the animal who looks perfect on paper isn’t the best fit.
